About Donna Lexa
Dedicated to our friend and artistic mentor, Donna Lexa.
Although Donna Lexa was killed in a car accident in 1996, she remains an inspiration to many. Through her Community Arts Centers Inc. of Waukesha, her caring and creativity helped disabled people communicate through art. Her boundless enthusiasm and can-do attitude animated the congregation of Jerusalem Presbyterian Church. Her warmth vitalized her loving family. This Art Fair is one of the many tributes to an undying spirit.
Donna’s dream is a reality
Donna gave much of her time to her church, and making it accessible to all was her dream. That dream is now a reality which can be seen in the new wing that houses the lift for the elderly and disabled. The church is just one block west of the Fair on Main Street. built in 1912 by the Welsh farming community, Jerusalem church is graced by some of the most beautiful stained glass in the area.
Proceeds from this art fair benefit local area non-profit organizations.
